there so much talk inside and outside PAKISTAN about the present chaotic state ,public insecurity,political uncertainity, india's voilence of ceasefire at LOC , PAK army's crucial distribution at different fronts.in the mid of all this ,there comes Qadri leading a powerful long march towards Islamabad,capital of Pakistan.A normal Pakistani is thinking "where do we stand ?????"
Present government's tenure is ending up this march.political parties are busy in Election preparations.This is the first time in history of Pakistan , that all the political parties have consensus over Election Commission and the government is claiming to hold election on time.few months back, Imran Khan appeared with great strength on the political horizon of Pakistan and gave people a reason,especially the youth, who had lost there trust in this political system, to believe in the 'change through ballet box'.PPP is hopeful to get another chance on there belief that they have delievered. while PML(N) has been trying to make people think that they are doing well and get votes in their favor.MQM ,ofcourse would be in next government,whosoever is the having the majority because Karachi's peace is required to make a stable government.ANP is also having high hopes.All other parties are doing there maximum to get the votes.so on political front everything is going good and leading towards elections in a very smooth manner.there are some reservations for the caretaker government but the attitude of the parties towards issue is showing that it would be settled down easily.
supreme court is working regularly and in an efficient manner,in las few months it has given its verdict on many crucial cases like removal of Yusuf Raza Gillani as PM.There is a cold war between SC and the government but things aren't out of control.Pak Army is also busy performing its prime duties,there are in FATA to eliminate miscreants.they are on PAK-IND borders to safeguard Pakistan from any external threats.It is having no apparent clash with the government.there are certain reservations of Pak Army like on government policey on drone attacks.
This was the whole present scenerio going on till 23 dec 2012.And things were a little bit weary but any how, evrything was working there was no dead lock in the system.
But then Dr.Qadri arrived Pakistan on 20th dec from Canada after quite a long time. Minhaj ul Quran (Qadri's walfare organization) was making preparation for a public meeting in lahore to be presided over by Dr.Qadri. the slogan they wrote on banner "siasat nahi,riasat bachao"(save country ,not politics).
advertisement compaign was very impressing.but nobody was thinking that it would cause great disturbance in pakistan's politics.
Minar e Paksitan was the place,Qadri was adressing to hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis ,came out there to listen him.he blames present government to be corrupt and incapable.he damanded that a care taker government should be given the rule at once,election commission should be rewamped.He gave government a deadline to meet all these demands otherwise he would march towards capital with ,waht he said, fourty lac pakistanis to give a sit in in Islamabad.And the deadline was 10 jan 2013.The astonishing thing was that MQM was giving him unconditional support in this run, inspite of being a part of present regime.they realized it later on and backed off from the support and advised him not to go for long marh as well.
As obvious ,demands were not fulfilled and Qadri marched toward Islamabad on 13th .Govt tried to settle things through PML(Q) but of no use.Rehman Malik,Interior Minister, blocked the whole capital with containers for entry.
Cutting the story short,Qadri arrived Islamabad safely on 14th.meanwhile there were protests against Govt. all around the country against Hazara killings.protestants had 86 dead bodies and they demanded to give Balochistan's rule to Army.Zardari ,president, was at his personnel residence in Karachi.protetants surrounded it.PM was seent down to Quetta to resolve this issue.Govt. was losing its grounds rapidly.
Quetta's problem was somewhat resolved by establishing Govenor Raj in Baluchistan.
Meanwhile , in last 15 days , India has voilated LOC ceasefire in which Pakistani soldiers died and yet denied.Pak Army offered free UNO invastigation.Only then they stepped back from their point.now on 15 jan India's PM while adressing a meeting has said after cross fire we are not having regular relations with Pakistan.
Sectarian killings,Attacks from India without any reason, and A wave of bomb blasts in major cities.Qadri's march seems to be a plot against Pak's stability.Qadri alone cannot afford the expenses of this march.and bringing such a big crowd itself is not possible for one man as he has a good fan following but this is a really big number of people out there with him.A party can bring such a crowd but only one person, in my view , cannot be able to gather this.and the amazing thing that such a good target for extremists went without any harm.extremists got orders from somewhere not to attack Qadri's March.
Now SC ordered NAB to capture PM and report on the same day during the crisis in Islamabad.this raises many questions......and the best part is Where is the Army,the most influential institution in Pakistan???? what going on at GHQ.are they planning to take over?if NO, why?while the only way out from this dead lock is Army's take over.if YES, whe and how? Martial law or care taker govt.?
Gen.Kayani has been a good supporting the Govt. in its trubulent times but this the worst time now.He cannot be silent anymore.
The last thing to consider is Imran Khan's seven demands to Govt.most important one is Zardari's resignation.otherwise Imran would move a march too.
And if the PML(N) is 2nd largest party where does it stand in this scenerio???
For a normal Pakistani,there is a mess out there .what to do and with whom to take sides with.who is right who is real representative of pakistanis????
